Jessica Simpson hasn't let becoming a new mum get in the way of her career; in fact she's capitalizing on her recent experiences, to launch a new range of maternity wear. She's known for her fashion prowess, from her stint on Project Runway and until very recently she was very heavily pregnant. Now, she's combined her knowledge of the fashion world with her knowledge of what it's like to be a stylish mum-to-be, on the hunt for something to stretch over the baby bump and still look on-trend.
Jessica gave birth to her daughter Maxwell Drew just two weeks ago and yesterday (May 14, 2012), she announced that she was launching her new clothes range, entitled Jessica Simpson Maternity. The new range will be available at Destination Maternity, Motherhood Maternity and MACy's, from fall 2012. People magazine report that the range will feature "breezy, everyday pieces aimed at the modern mom-to-be who wants to maintain her fashion edge throughout her pregnancy." The rage has a 1970s feel and includes maxi dresses, jackets, sweaters and denim.
Jessica released a statement that read "'I'm so excited to partner with Destination Maternity to design a collection of fashionable styles that make you look and feel great. You want to wear clothes that are flattering to your baby bump; you want to show your bump off."
