The pair’s secret Lifetime movie is not so secret anymore.
The saga of Kristen Wiig and Will Ferrell’s hush-hush Lifetime project could be a movie in itself, but at long last the secret is now officially out, as a giant billboard promoting the movie has appeared in Hollywood. Yes A Deadly Adoption is most definitely happening and we don’t have long to wait for it, as the film is coming to Lifetime on June 20th!
Wiig stars opposite Will Ferrell in A Deadly Adoption.
The film is a spoof of the usual Lifetime movie and stars the two ‘SNL’ alumni as a married couple who take in a pregnant woman (played by ‘90210’s' Jessica Lowndes) with the intention of adopting her unborn baby. Of course things don’t go according to plan for the couple and we can only imagine what’s in store for Wiig and Ferrell.
Will Ferrell and Kristen Wiig have withdrawn their support for the upcoming Lifetime movie in which they were intended to star. Ferrell issued a statement on Thursday (2nd April), only a day after details of the project leaked online.
Will Ferrell released a statement announcing he was withdrawing from the Lifetime project.

Paul (Jason Patric) used to be a major figure in the Las Vegas crime world - known by his rivals as 'The Prince - before retiring to life as a mechanic in Mississippi as the single father of his growing daughter Angela (Jessica Lowndes). However, his past is coming back to haunt him as one former rival, Omar (Bruce Willis), just can't let his grudge rest. Angela is kidnapped, forcing Paul to face his enemies once again; he travels down to where he believes she has been taken after taking advice from an old friend named Sam (John Cusack). He's still got the weapons and he's definitely still got his formidable fighting skills, but after living in peace for so long, will he be able to save the only person left in his life? Omar's betting he won't, and even he does, he's still got lots to explain to his angry and confused daughter about his dark past.
