Jessica Biel has signed up to play Vera Miles in 'Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho'.
The 'A-Team' actress is joining an all-star cast including Scarlett Johansson as screen icon Janet Leigh and Sir Anthony Hopkins as Hitchcock in the movie, which will be directed by Sacha Gervasi.
Vera played the role of Lila Kane, the sister of Janet's character in 1960's 'Psycho'.
In real life she signed a five-year contract with Alfred to play roles in his movies, and although their relationship cooled after she became pregnant in 1958, he still cast her two years later in the horror flick - best known for its infamous shower scream scene.
The Script for 'Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho' has been written by 'Black Swan' scribe John McLaughlin, and adapted by the book by Stephen Rebello.
'Psycho' was nominated for four Oscars upon its release, and it is believed those behind the film are hoping it will end up with the same level of success and acclaim as Michelle Williams gained for 'My Week with Marilyn'.
Jessica will next be seen in the remake of 'Total Recall' opposite Colin Farrell.
