Jessica Alba is being lined up to star in the fourth instalment in the 'Spy Kids' franchise, 'Spy Kids 4: All the Time in the World'.
The actress - who recently signed up to star alongside Owen Wilson and Ben Stiller in 'Little Fockers' - is said to be in talks with producers to play a retired spy in 'Spy Kids 4: All the Time in the World'.
However, with the original actors no longer children, director Robert Rodriguez has made the decision to revamp the entire franchise, according to The Hollywood Reporter
Jessica, 29, will be playing the mother of a baby and two pre-teen stepchildren, who will be the new Spy Kids.
The role of her character's husband - a "nerdy" investigative reporter - as well as the film's villain, are still waiting to be filled.
'Spy Kids 4: All the Time in the World' is set to begin filming in Austin, Texas next month with a budget of $30 million.
This will be the third time Jessica has worked with the Rodriguez after starring in 'Sin City' in 2005 and soon-to-be released 'Machete'.
