Stonestreet, who is frequently spooked by DeGeneres when he's a guest on her programme, had a chance to be on the other side of the scare by silently creeping up on his onscreen husband and screaming in his face. Ferguson exclaimed, "Look I'm shaking!... He (Stonestreet) has great anxiety when he comes on your show - and now I know."
