Jesse Eisenberg is in talks to star in new movie 'Now You See Me'.

The 'Social Network' star is in early negotiations to take one of the lead roles in Louis Leterrier's magician heist thriller, while Jake Gyllenhaal is being lined up for the other starring role.

The movie follows a group of the world's greatest illusionists, who pull off daring bank heists during their performances, showering the profits on their audience.

However, the FBI eventually get involved which prompts a game of cat-and-mouse between the two groups.

Colin Firth, Sacha Baron Cohen, Jim Carrey and Hugh Grant had all been in the running to take on the roles, but bosses Summit Entertainment - who are making the movie - decided to go with a younger cast.

If Jesse does sign up, he may find it hard to watch the finished film as he recently revealed he hates watching himself on screen and has to have regular sessions with a psychologist, who suggested he watch his own movies back.

He said: "My therapist says that I should watch my films because you have to treat it with respect."
