Rapper/producer Jermaine Dupri has saved his Georgia home from foreclosure after filing an emergency motion to block the sale.

The star prevented his Atlanta mansion from going under the hammer on 2 January (13) by lodging the last-minute petition, and a judge agreed to call off the auction, reports Tmz.com.

Dupri admits he has not made a mortgage payment since November 2011, but alleges his debts amount to just $111,845 (£70,000) and not the $410,000 (£256,000) he is accused of owing.

It is the second time in four months Dupri has come close to losing the property - it was almost sold off in September (12), but the sale was called off due to a dispute over his mortgage bill.
