Rapper/producer Jermaine Dupri has paid off a $3 million (£1.8 million) tax lien.

Internal Revenue Service (Irs) bosses filed papers against the music mogul in 2008, alleging he had not paid tax bills dating back to 2006.

They claimed Dupri owed $3,095,004 (£1,934,388) - and the star has now settled the debt, according to Tmz.com.

Dupri also paid off a big tax bill last year, handing over almost $500,000 (£312,500) to authorities, and just last month (Jan13), he saved his Georgia home from foreclosure after filing an emergency motion to block the sale.
