It's been an emotional couple of months for Jennifer Lopez following her split from husband Marc Anthony in July, though the 42 year-old singer set herself up for onstage heartache when performing 'Until It Beats No More' - in front of dancers depicting her past failed relationships, according to the UK's Daily Mail.
Lopez broke down in tears while performing the track at Mohegan Sun Arena's 15th Anniversary in Connecticut after a performance of the song which saw ringers for her previous boyfriends and husbands P. Diddy, Cris Judd, Ben Affleck and Anthony take to the stage. The latter replicated Lopez' and the real Marc's performance together for the American Idol show back in May. The singer then eventually broke down completely and fled the stage following her 1999 smash hit 'If You Had My Love,' announcing it as "as the last song I wrote about love...a lot has changed since then."
Other sources have since told that she was in fact distressed at a sight of a picture of her and her two kids - shot for a Gucci ad last Autumn - with the snap apparently possessing a strong emotional value. Yet it would be churlish to deny Lopez time to be upset after the goings-on of the last few months.
