Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart may have only just gotten together, but the backup dancer is facing a 90 day prison sentence after pleading no contest to a number of motoring offences, according to People magazine.
Casper, 24, has racked up a variety of charges in recent years, including speeding and illegal drag racing. According to police records, the dancer was also charged with driving without a license in 2004, 2006 and 2006, evading electronic toll charges in 2005 and exceeding a speed limit of 65mph in 2004 and 2007. Back in March 2011, Smart pled no contest to the charges and is scheduled to appear in court on January 5 2012 - he has already been asked to complete 10 days of community service. If found guilty, Casper is facing 90 days in prison as well as a fine of around $500. Casper and Lopez are understood to have been dating for several weeks following the singer's split from husband Marc Anthony. The couple announced their separation in July after seven years of marriage during which they had twins Emme and Maximilian.
The R&B star was previously married to Ojani Onoa, which ended in divorce after 21 months. She then married backup dancer Chris Judd, but again divorced after a short time. Lopez called off her wedding to actor Ben Affleck just days before the ceremony in September 2003.
