Jennifer Lopez found selecting the three wildcard entries on 'American Idol' ''awful and tough''.
The singer-and-actress, along with her fellow judges Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson, selected three 'wildcard' entries to join the 10 contestants already chosen by the public in the finals of the star-search contest yesterday (03.03.11) and the brunette beauty admits she hated having to make a decision.
She told MTV News: "Ugh. It was awful. It was so tough. It was so hard, even up until the very last second. It was like, wait a minute, we really didn't know who to choose at the last minute. It could have gone any way. Even when we did it, when we announced it, we were like, 'Did we do the right thing?' I don't know."
The judges eventually opted to keep Stefano Langone, Naima Adedapo and Ashthon Jones, but Jennifer realised they would always feel someone had been dismissed who deserved a place in the finals.
She added: "We were going to send somebody home that maybe deserved to be there. Probably a lot of kids went home who deserved to be there."
