British model David Gandy was kneed in the ''crown jewels'' by Jennifer Lopez when they starred together in the music video for her track 'First Love'.
The 34-year-old model - who Jennifer recently admitted was her celebrity crush - thinks the 'On The Floor' hitmaker just fancied him out of pity following the embarrassing mishap on the set of her music video for 'First Love'.
He told 'Entertainment Tonight': ''She caught me with her knee in my crown jewels and still to this day, I think she just said she had a crush on me because she feels bad.''
David also opened up about the experience of shooting the music video on a seemingly idyllic remote island.
He said: ''The conditions were absolutely awful, we had sandstorms in the middle of the desert and it was freezing cold but me and Jen had a blast doing it.
''It looked a whole lot more romantic than it was.''
The model found instant fame after fronting a high-profile campaign for iconic fashion label Dolce and Gabbana and can't believe he's now the top male model in the industry.
He said: ''It was a 50-foot poster on Times Square, so that's why it really took off.
''Suddenly every paper was ringing up wanting interviews and people sort of knowing who I was, so it was quick. ''
