Jennifer Lawrence… pardon, Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence got to meet Jeff Bridges and Comic-Con over the weekend and the result was curious. Ok, so the cutest video on the internet has to be either a sneezing panda or some puppu/kitten shenanigans of some sort, but this video definitely comes close.
Apparently, Lawrence is a Jeff Bridges fan.
In the almost 4-minute-long clip, Lawrence and some of the cast of the Hunger Games get interviewed on the red carpet, but that’s not the main event.
After her interview, J-Law spots a certain favorite actor also doing press on the red carpet and proceeds to do what can only be described as some intense and hilarious fangirling. After Jennifer introduces herself to Bridges, the interviewer graciously hands her the mic for a question. To summarise: even if Lawrence’s entire awkward and excitable persona is an act, it’s still the funniest thing to happen on any red carpet in a long while.
The actress, whose career has exploded over the past two years, including two blockbuster movies and an Oscar at just 22, was in town to promote The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, as well as X-Men: Days of Future Past, in which she reprises her role as Mystique – a character with far more composure than the actress herself.
But despite Lawrence’s giddy public persona, her fans would never want her to change. The actress might just be the most relatable and adored Hollywood personality at the moment, mostly due to spastic moment like this one. Well, her acting ability might have something to do with it too.
The Big Lebowski actor also found the whole thing endearing.
