Jennifer Lawrence wore a dazzling gold dress to the London premiere of The Hunger Games on Wednesday night (March 14, 2012), less than 48 hours after she opted for the same color gown to the first screening in Los Angeles.
Lawrence - who fended off stiff A-list competition to land the role of Katniss Everdeen in the movie - looked stunning in a shimmering Ralph Lauren dress at the O2 Arena, reports the UK's Daily Mail. On Monday, she had opted for a gold Prabal Gurung gown as she walked the red-carpet in Hollywood. The Hunger Games follows a society in which children fight to the death on television and studio bosses are anticipating the first movie will gross more than initial efforts by Harry Potter and the Twilight franchise. Also attending the premiere in London tonight was co-star Elizabeth Banks, who wore a striking yellow Bill Blass dress with Jimmy Choo heels, and Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson, who play Gale Hawthorne and Peeta Mellark. The dark story already has a huge fan-base thanks to the novels by Suzanne Collins, and Hemsworth told MTV News he was keen to respect the original premise, saying, "I really didn't want it to suck".
