Jennifer Lawrence cried when she read the 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay' script.
The Oscar-winning actress, who plays Katniss Everdeen in the film adaptations of Suzanne Collins' best-selling series, had a highly emotional response when reading what was going to happen in the upcoming third and fourth films, which will conclude the franchise.
She told The Hollywood Reporter: ''I cried when I read the third script, I really did. It was heartbreaking.''
Lawrence, 23, has found it difficult to be apart from Josh Hutcherson, 21 - who was cast as her love interest Peeta Mellark - after working with him for the first two films and even called him up crying after she read the script.
She said: ''Josh just makes everything so wonderful,'' before turning to him and saying: ''I miss you a lot.''
'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay' is currently being shot in Atlanta.
It is based on the final book of the trilogy but will be split into two films, with the first set for release in November 2014 and the second a year later in November 2015.
