“From Jen, to the internet,” she began the post. “I meant absolutely no disrespect to the Hawaiian people.

“I really thought that I was being self deprecating about the fact that I was ‘the curse’, but I understand the way it was perceived was not funny and I apologize if I offended anyone.”

Lawrence had told the story during an appearance on ‘The Graham Norton Show’ last week, saying she had nearly killed a crew member thanks to her itchy butt.

“You were not supposed to sit on them because you weren’t supposed to expose your genitalia to them,” Lawrence explained, adding that she was allowed to sit there because she was wearing a wet suit.

The actress then said she soon realised the rocks were “so good for butt itchin’”, after she began rubbing against them in her wetsuit. However her actions then led to one rock coming loose and almost killing the sound guy.
