Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Hemsworth are among the young actors set to compete for the coveted Rising Star prize at the upcoming British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Awards.
The Winter's Bone star, who received an Oscar nomination for her role in the gritty film, will compete with Thor's Hemsworth for the award, which recognises young talent and is the only Bafta voted for by the public.
The other famous faces in the running for the honour are Tom Hiddleston, Felicity Jones, Eddie Redmayne, Adam Deacon, Jessica Chastain and Chris O'Dowd.
The shortlist was picked by a panel of star judges including Sienna Miller, Simon Pegg and Harry Potter director David Yates, and it will be whittled down to five finalists ahead of the awards ceremony in London on 12 February (12).
Previous winners of the Orange Rising Star award include Tom Hardy, Kristen Stewart and James MCAvoy.
