Jennifer Lawrence took home the Best Actress Oscar for her role in 'Silver Linings Playbook' on Sunday (24.02.13).
Jennifer Lawrence was awarded Best Actress at the 2013 Oscars.
The 22-year-old 'Silver Linings Playbook' actress - who was previously nominated in the same category two years ago for her role in 'Winter's Bone' - received a standing ovation after she stumbled on the stairs leading up to the stage at the 85th annual ceremony on her way to collect her statue on Sunday (24.02.13).
Dressed in a stunning Dior Haute Couture gown, she said: ''Thank you so much. This is nuts.
''You guys are only standing up because I fell and you feel bad.''
The blonde beauty, who was accompanied at the ceremony by her parents, also thanked her co-stars, crew and team for their support before wishing her fellow nominee, 'Amour' star Emmanuelle Riva a happy 86th birthday.
Before the prestigious ceremony at Hollywood's Dolby Theater, Jennifer revealed she had a very stressful day and admitted she couldn't wait to get to an after party so she could eat.
She said: ''Today was so stressful. There was everybody in, my family got ready at my house. I felt like Steve Martin in 'Father of the Bride' with all the furniture being moved around my house.
I had no time to eat. I'm starving.''
