Having successfully rescued Peeta and the other Hunger Games victors, Katniss Everdeen is feeling the strain of being the Mockingjay for the rebel group of District 13. The propaganda is exhausting, and she is starting to become uncertain about who are the heroes and who are the villains. While victory over the Capitol looks in the rebels' favour, Katniss is becoming increasingly suspicious of President Coin - a suspicion which becomes all the more intense when she confronts the captured Panem leader President Snow. He seems intent on killing her, but he's not the only one. When the rebels' methods are shown to be just as hostile as the Capitol, Katniss has to decide which path the take and with the oncoming final Hunger Games, her decision is fated to change her life forever.
Is 'Britain's Hardest Grafter' just 'The Hunger Games'?
The BBC has been forced to defend its new reality TV show which pits unemployed and low paid workers against each other for a cash prize. The corporation argued that Britain's Hardest Grafter is a "serious social experiment" and now a Hunger Games style battle, as has been suggested.
Critics have compared Britain's Hardest Grafter to the Jennifer Lawrence movie The Hunger Games
The five-part BBC2 series is looking for contestants who earn or receive benefits totally less than £15,500 a year. It will pit contestants against each other in a serious of jobs and tasks with "the least effective workers" asked to leave. The winner will leave with a cash prize of £15,000 - the minimum annual wage for workers outside London.

'The Maze Runner' and 'Neighbors' also scooped awards.
It's difficult to argue with the results of this year's MTV Movie Awards victors, who took home their much-deserved accolades on Sunday (April 12th 2015). The top prize of Movie Of The Year went to Josh Boone's adaptation of the John Green novel 'The Fault In Our Stars' - but who else won big at the 2015 ceremony?
Shailene Woodley took home a couple of awards herself; first for Best Female Performance in 'The Fault In Our Stars', and second for Best Kiss with Ansel Elgort. 'The Maze Runner' star Dylan O'Brien also won big, landing Breakthrough Performance, Best Hero and, of course, Best Fight with Will Poulter. O'Brien will reprise his role in the upcoming sequel 'Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials'. Meanwhile, Zac Efron's abs in 'Neighbors' predictably won him Best Shirtless Performance, while his onscreen chemistry with Dave Franco made them Best Duo. 'Neighbors' was also the winner of Best WTF Moment, with Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne taking home the award.

Rumours of a slanging match between actress and director emerged on Tuesday, but Lawrence and studio representatives deny it.

Could Star-Lord and Katniss be sharing the screen together soon?
With the Hunger Games soon coming to an end (for now), Jennifer Lawrence is reportedly in talks to star in space drama, Passengers, which is currently in development over at Sony. Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt is also said to be being eyed for the project, which the studio purchased the rights to back in December.
Jennifer Lawrence's next role could be alongside Chris Pratt
Variety reports that talks with Lawrence are in their early stages, while Oscar nominated The Imitation Game director Morten Ttldum looks set to helm the film. The script is currently being written by Jon Spaihts, who penned the upcoming Doctor Strange.
The Hunger Games franchise officially comes to an end on November 20, 2015 with the release of Mockinjay Part 1, though Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer has confirmed that the studio is "actively looking at some development and thinking about prequel and sequel possibilities" - which translates to "actively looking at ways to milk that cash cow some more."
Jennifer Lawrence [L] and Josh Hutcherson [R] could potentially return for new Hunger Games movies
The movies starring Jennifer Lawrence have already been expanded from three books to four films, with the first three having grossed over $1 billion dollars worldwide. Though the studio would be keen to hang on to the talents of Lawrence - one of the most popular actresses in the world - it's likely that any prequels would feature a fresh line-up of stars.

Initially, Poole began the website as a place to discuss anime and manga but the site has few laws as to what users can and cannot post, and the FBI stepped in after the celebrity leak.

Amy Adams' appearance on the 'Today' show has reportedly been cancelled after she refused to answer questions on the Sony hack.
It may be one of the most talked about scandals of the year but actress Amy Adams is keeping quiet about the Sony hacks and her decision has cost her latest film Big Eyes national television coverage.
Amy Adams, photographed at the New York premiere of Big Eyes, will not be appearing on the Today show after her appearance was cancelled.
So is this a gender thing... or just a management fail? We may never know.
The confidential files just keep on leaking from Sony and the latest batch has ignited some gender-related controversy. Basically, after some financial info was leaked, it was revealed that Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Adams (whose names you may recognize from, well, every headline this year,) were paid significantly less than their male co-stars for their work in the Oscar-winning film American Hustle.
It seems like for Lawrence [l] and Adams [r], the pay gap is still a reality.
Aah, pay gap, how we’ve missed you. Well, not really, because the pay gap never went anywhere, not even within the film industry apparently. The good folks over at The Daily Beast have unearthed a message from a message sent from Andrew Gumpert, President of Business Affairs and Administration for Columbia Pictures to Amy Pascal, co-chairman of Sony Pictures Entertainment and Doug Belgrad, President of SPE Motion Picture Group on December 5, 2013, confirming that Adams and Lawrence received roughly 7% of the film’s talent budget each. Meanwhile, co-stars Bradley Cooper, Jeremy Renner and Christian Bale got... get ready for this... 9% each. I’m no math expert here, but I’m pretty sure that doesn’t even come out to the often cited statistic of 81 cents to a dollar.
The penultimate installment to 'The Hunger Games' franchise holds relevance in real life.
'Mockingjay' storms the US box office yet again on its second weekend like we knew it would, but what has made this chapter of the 'The Hunger Games' storyline such a driving success among audiences? Leading lady Jennifer Lawrence had a few ideas.
Jennifer Lawrence sees authenticity in 'The Hunger Games'
'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1' has so far managed to gross in excess of $254.4 million worldwide - not quite as much as its predecessors but still an impressive number as Katniss Everdeen's new challenges in District 13 captivate fans across the globe. The woman herself, Jennifer Lawrence, also being enamoured by Suzanne Collins' story, has a lot to say about what intrigued her so much about the story and characters and how it feels to capture a book character and bring it to life.

But is 'Mockingjay Part 1' just a set up for the best yet to come?
'The Hunger Games' continues to go from strength to strength, garnering solid reviews and big box office takings. The latest instalment, 'Mockingjay Part 1', debuted at number one on both the American and British box office charts, and looks likely to hold the top spot until 'The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies' opens next month.
Jennifer Lawrence makes another stunning performance in 'Mockingjay Part 1'
Critics have given the film a 66% positive rating on Rotten Tomatoes, down from 84% for the 2012 original film and 89% for 'Catching Fire'. This is probably due to the fact that third novel 'Mockingjay' has been split into two movies, which leaves 'Part 1' sometimes feeling like a set-up to something much more exciting still to come.
Jennifer Lawrence is now a Top 40 singer, as well as Oscar-winning actress. Feel any better about yourself?

Mockingjay Part 1 holds another starry premiere, while Cumberbatch turns out for two films in New York, and Unbroken premieres Down Under. Maggie Smith and Bill Nighy are spotted filming around England, and we get more detailed looks at Fifty Shades of Grey and Disney's live-action Cinderella...
After the world premiere in London last week, this week saw the cast of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 walking the red carpet in Los Angeles just before the film arrived in cinemas. Cast members in attendance included Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Julianne Moore, Donald Sutherland, Sam Claflin, Jeffrey Wright, Natalie Dormer and Elden Henson.
This four-part franchise, based on the Suzanne Collins novels, turns very dark with this strikingly bold third film, which once again makes the most of perspective to recount a parable about normal people rising up against oppression. This may be a sci-fi apocalypse, but the story is packed with present-day resonance and messy characters who are sometimes unnervingly easy to identify with. So while things get very grim in this chapter, it's still a hugely engaging film, packed with real-life humour and emotion. And it makes Mockingjay Part 2 unmissable.
The story picks up not long after the chaos of the Quarter Quell, when Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) realised that she had been a pawn for a planned revolution that cast her as the iconic Mockingjay. Now in hiding, the rebels need her to assume the role publicly, but she has other concerns. So she makes a deal with rebel President Coin (Julianne Moore) and her sidekick Plutarch (Philip Seymour Hoffman) that she'll help them if they guarantee safety for the captured Peeta (Josh Hutcherson), who has apparently been brainwashed so he can be used for propaganda purposes by the Capitol's President Snow (Donald Sutherland). Working with her old hunting buddy Gale (Liam Hemsworth), Katniss takes on the Mockingjay role, locking horns with Snow as the rebellion grows in strength.
Once again, director Francis Lawrence vividly tells the story from Katniss' imperfect point of view. This is a teen consumed with anger and confusion, and she can't figure out why she's so inspiring to everyone who looks at her. But she's beginning to understand her impact and how she can use it to help the people she loves. This makes her heroism remarkably human, rather than the usual noble movie self-sacrifice. And Jennifer Lawrence brings so much depth to Katniss that the character transcends even the most jarring plot points. Her internal journey also makes this much more than yet another dystopian teen adventure.

Jennifer Lawrence admits her rapid rise to fame was not unlike Katniss Everdeen's.
With 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1' coming out soon, things are getting a lot darker in the dystopian world of Panem. And while it was difficult for Jennifer Lawrence to draw on her personal life for a story so extraodinary, she admits parallels between she and Katniss Everdeen were still there.
Jennifer Lawrence identifies with Katniss in The Hunger Games
Katniss goes through some pretty hellish times in Suzanne Collins' fantasy trilogy; while the first book and movie saw her engage in the deadly Hunger Games for District 12 and subsequently win with her so-called boyfriend Peeta, the second thrust her into an unfamiliar and dangerous world of fame, recognition and respect. But after being forced into the Games a second time in 'Catching Fire' only for it to end with her awakening as she is whisked off with her friends and mentor to the long-forgotten District 13 having lost her home, she's facing a new kind of fame. She's now expected to lead the rebels in a war against the Capitol led by the tyrannical President Snow, who happens to be holding Peeta hostage.

Yes, it's actually happening. No news on whether it's a musical, but we would bet on "no."
The Hunger Games are heading down that well trodden path – from book to film to London stage show. The Hunger Games “theatrical experience” is on track for Summer 2016, according to The Hollywood Reporter and will open in a purpose-built theatre near Wembley Stadium.
Jennifer Lawrence will not star in the new thing, unfortunately.

The duo's brief romance has apparently come to an end only four months after they were rumoured to be getting close with one another.
It seems Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin's brief, and surprising, romance has come to an end after only four months of dating, that is if they were ever together at all as they both have always remained silent on their supposed relationship.
Lawrence is newly single again
Rumours first began to surface that J-Law was getting close to the Coldplay frontman this past June, shortly after the Hollywood actress split from her longtime boyfriend, actor Nicholas Hoult. Meanwhile, Martin and his wife Gwyneth Paltrow only announced their 'conscious uncoupling' this past March, after ten years of marriage.
Gorgeously shot, this period drama has a terrific setting and vivid characters, but is edited together in a jarring way that distances the audience from the situations. As the story progresses, the film also shifts strangely from a riveting exploration of a power couple with a pioneering spirit to a more melodramatic thriller about corruption and murder. It's consistently engaging thanks to the power of the cast, but it should have also been darkly moving as well.
The story is set in the late 1920s, as lumber baron George (Bradley Cooper) struggles under the economic pressures of the impending Great Depression. Then he meets Serena (Jennifer Lawrence) and it's love at first sight. A feisty, outspoken woman with a background in logging, she immediately ruffles feathers in George's camp by giving out advice that's actually helpful. George's two righthand men, accountant Buchanan (David Dencik) and foreman Campbell (Sean Harris), both quietly wonder if this woman is going to mess up their all-male world of underhanded bribes and physical danger. But she develops a rapport with George's hunting tracker Galloway (Rhys Ifans). Meanwhile, the local sheriff (Toby Jones) is trying to get George's land declared protected national parkland.
Oscar-winning Danish director Susanne Bier (In a Better World) gives the film a grand scale with expansive mountain landscapes and a sweeping romantic tone. The Western-style bustle of the logging camp is lively and authentic, as is the continual threat of death or dismemberment on the job. Against this, Cooper and Lawrence have terrific chemistry both with each other and the characters around them, sharply portrayed by strong actors who know how to invest plenty of attitude into even a small role.

The 24 year-old actress' hilarious speech about her 'Hunger Games' co-star quickly stole the show at Elle's Women in Hollywood Celebration.
On Monday evening (Oct 20th), some of the world's most talented female stars were gathered at the 2014 Elle's Women in Hollywood Celebration, so it is no surprise Jennifer Lawrence was in attendance, but this time it wasn't her receiving the honour.
Lawrence quickly stole the show at Elle's Women in Hollywood Celebration
However, when the 24 year-old actress presented her 'Hunger Games' co-star Elizabeth Banks, she quickly stole the show by making the packed out audience at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills fall into a fit of laughter.
"When I first read the script," begins director Susanne Bier, "I called Nick Wechsler (one of the film's producers) and I said 'I think this should be Bradley Cooper and Jenifer Lawrence'". In this featurette for 'Serena', the two lead actors discuss their mutual respect for one-another, and their excitement to work together on the film. Bradley Cooper states "I've sort of hit the jack-pot, being able to work with Jennifer Lawrence." In response, Lawrence explains why their previous work together has helped, as they found it "easy to just kind of jump into it." 'Serena' serves as the third time Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence have worked together on a film.

The ex-couple will have to get professional and put aside their history in 'X-Men: Apocalypse', due to start shooting next year.
The filming of the new X-Men movie is going to contain a classic ex-relationship ‘awkward’ moment. The franchise’s stars Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult, who portray the characters Mystique and Beast, are set to film a sex scene in X-Men Apocalypse.
Lawrence and Hoult first met on the set of one of the previous films in the series, X-Men: First Class, in 2011. But in August this year the pair announced their split, citing busy schedules.
Talk show host Wendy Williams has weighed in on the debate about the celebrity nude photo scandal. Her judgements are - to say the least - unsound and here are three reasons why.

Jennifer Lawrence Breaks Silence On Nude Photo Hacking “It Is Not A Scandal. It Is A Sex Crime”
Actress Jennifer Lawrence has spoken for the first time about the nude photo leak that she and over a hundred other celebrities fell victim to last month. In an interview with Vanity Fair, Lawrence branded the incident “disgusting” and described it as “a sex crime” rather than a scandal.
Jennifer Lawrence was the first victim of the celebrity photo hack
The 24 year old, who is preparing for the release of the first instalment of the final Hunger Games film, Mockingjay Part 1, told the magazine she was “so afraid” and “didn’t know how” the pictures would affect her career.
The lawsuit has been launched by several as-of-yet unnamed celebrities, affected by the leak.
The fallout continues after last month’s leaks of nude celebrity photos. This time, it’s Google on the chopping block. The company has been threatened with a $100 million lawsuit by the high-profile firm representing a dozen of the women, who had their photos stolen and privacy breached.
Jennifer Lawrence was one of the first women affected by the breach.
On Thursday, the corporation defended itself by saying that it had reacted to the leak quickly, taking down "tens of thousands of pictures" and closing "hundreds of accounts" in the wake of the scandal. The leaks are currently under investigation from the FBI.
The new couple continue with their bid for privacy while the public continue to ignore their wishes
Everyone knows what the first few months of a new relationship is like: the excitement; the bubble with just the two of you; the brilliance of always being together; and the sickening way you tell everyone else you never want to be apart. Unfortunately, when you’re the lead singer of a rock band and an Oscar-winning actress those wonderfully scary and delightfully uncertain moments are not only shared with each other but also with a world of eagle-eyed fans.
J-Law likes her men British: the actress is rumoured to be dating Chris Martin after breaking up with X-Men actor, Nicholas Hoult
Although there has been no confirmation from either Jennifer Lawrence or Chris Martin of a romance and no real image of the pair engaging in each other’s company, speculation remains heightened as the media continue to stumble upon them in places that are never very far away from each other.
More nude photographs reportedly of another group of female celebrities have been leaked online. The latest victims of what appears to be the same group of hackers as the August leak include Kim Kardashian, Vanessa Hudgens, Avril Lavigne and Mary-Kate Olsen.
The FBI may be hot on the trail of the hackers (or so we hope) but that hasn't stopped what appears to be the perpetrators of 'The Fappening' from leaking yet more nude celebrity photographs.
Kim Kardashian has reportedly become a victim of the hackers.
The ‘Big Bang Theory’ star has told Jimmy Kimmel how she reacted after her intimate photos were leaked by hackers.
Kaley Cuoco has revealed the funny way she found out that nude photos of herself had made their way on to the internet earlier this month. Speaking on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live', the 'Big Bang Theory' star also told how she found the funny side of the situation and enlisted her castmates to help her mock the hackers, using her favourite app.
Kaley Cuoco was a victim of the nudeo photo leak earlier this month
Admitting that she has a Google alert set up for her own name, Cuoco who plays Penny on the hit CBS series told the chat show host, "I totally have Google alerts that come to my phone, so anything that pops up with my name comes to my phone because I'm like obsessed, I need to know what's going on."
'Serena' has been a long time in the making, but could it be the source of Jennifer Lawrence's next Oscar win?
Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper certainly appear to have a connection on-screen. Stop comparing young women to each other, says Shailene Woodley.
Shailene Woodley might not want to be called a feminist, but sometimes she says some really poignant things about women and equality. She also gets compared to Jennifer Lawrence a lot. That might seem unrelated, but according to Woodley, there’s a connection.
Shailene Woodley [l] and Jennifer Lawrence [r] - what do they really have in common?
"As women, we are constantly told that we need to compare ourselves to a girl in school, to our co-workers, to the images in a magazine," the 22-year-old beauty muses in the latest issue of New York magazine, which she covers with BFF Brie Larson. "How is the world going to advance if we're always comparing ourselves to others? I admire Jennifer Lawrence, but she's everyone's favorite person to compare me to."
Let's all just stop asking whether 'The Maze Runner' is the new 'Hunger Games' and start appreciating it for what it really is.
It’s a question you probably hear on a near daily basis. “Is this the new that?” “Is that the new this?” We’re always searching for the new something trying to replace a good thing we already have. That’s what springs to mind when we keep hearing the question, Is The Maze Runner going to be the new Hunger Games? It reminds us of that time we asked if The Hunger Games was the new Twilight. It wasn’t (it was better).
Will The Maze Runner enjoy as much success as The Hunger Games?
So, let’s take a look at the two franchises separately. Starring Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence, The Hunger Games has surpassed all expectations of how popular it would become. Adapted from the young adult novels, the basic story is set in dystopian America and revolves around Katniss Everdeen, played by Lawrence.

X-Men: Days of Future Past has the most successful first-weekend X-Men movie and the biggest opener of the year so far with its hugely successful debut. What’s more, it looks like Fox’s biggest ever debut, and guess which studio was behind James Cameron’s Avatar?
Hugh Jackman as Wolverine in X-Men: Days of Future Past
With an estimated global total of $281.1m, Days of Future Past has already earned back its reported $200m budget. The biggest chunk of that came solely from home base, America, with $90.7m over the Memorial Day weekend – oh, and sorry ‘Game of Thrones’ fans; that means a week’s wait for the next episode.
Continuing to be the most original and resonant of the Marvel superhero franchises, the X-men return in the capable hands of director Bryan Singer, who again stirs plenty of meaty subtext beneath the thrilling action. He also has one of the best casts imaginable, including Oscar winners, cinema royalty, rising stars and matinee idols.
Best of all, Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) returns to the fold after two less-than-thrilling solo adventures. He's at the centre of everything here, as Professor X and Magneto (Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen) ask Kitty Pryde (Ellen Page) to send Wolverine's consciousness back 50 years to 1973. His mission is to prevent Dr Trask (Peter Dinklage) from inventing mutant-hunting robots, because they will go out of control and cause a present-day dystopia in which mutants and anyone who sympathises with them are killed. But Wolverine's biggest task will be to get the then-feuding Professor X and Magneto (James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender) to work together to keep renegade mutant Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) from making everything worse.
Thankfully, Simon Kinberg's script doesn't worry too much about the whole time-travel thing, shrugging off dubious logic by keeping the focus on the characters. And there are a lot of people to keep an eye on, which makes the film sometimes feel a bit crowded and leaves some characters barely on-screen at all (blink and you'll miss Anna Paquin's Rogue). The best newbie is Evan Peters' Quicksilver, who gets the film's most entertaining sequence as he races around tweaking an action sequence frame by frame. Other set-pieces are grippingly darker, and some don't quite make sense (why does Magneto feel the need to levitate an entire stadium?).

Prepare to see less Katniss and Peeta, more Finnick and Gale
We left Katniss Everdeen in the unexpected hands of Hoffman’s character, Plutarch Heavensbee, and Finnick Odair, played by Sam Claflin. Claflin has revealed that the movie is “going very well and looks amazing”, adding, “There’s a lot more to come.”

Jennifer Lawrence as Bella Swan? Think of what could have been for some of our favourite movies
Losing out on a job is always tough, but imagine what it’s like if that job is a part in a major Hollywood movie? As all actors know the audition process is tough and sometimes things just don’t go your way. We’ve taken a look at some stars who came oh so close to starring in some of our favorite movies, but ultimate they ended up losing out on the part.
Can you imagine Jennifer Lawrence as Bella Swan?
Jennifer Lawrence -Twilight (Bella Swan)
Scarlett Johansson finds her 'tacky' nickname 'insulting'. These other celebrities aren't so bothered about their portmanteau names.
These days it seems as though fame is cemented when the world refers to you by your very own portmanteau. Over the past few years it’s become a way of referring to our favourite celebs, because in the texting generation don’t nobody gots time to say their full names. Think J-Lo, K-Stew, J-Law, ScarJo, the list goes on. Except ScarJo wants her name taken off the list, because, well, she’s apparently above all that. Apparently starring in a Marvel movie franchise qualifies you as a serious actress, Meryl Streep style. Or MezStree as we like to call her. And she freaking loves it.
Scarlett Johansson thinks portmanteaus are 'tacky'
Scarlett Johansson, or ScarJo as we like to call her (and which is how she shall forever forth be referred) explained to Glamour magazine, “I associate that name with, like, pop stars. It sounds tacky. It’s lazy and flippant…There’s something insulting about it.” Well, that's certainly very diplomatic and won't potentially insult anybody. Nice work, ScarJo! ScarJo ScarJo ScarJo.
