Actress Jennifer Garner is urging families to use fresh food and work together in the kitchen as part of a campaign to teach kids how to cook.
The Alias star visited Hilltop Hanover Farm in Yorktown Heights, New York to pick vegetables with a group of children on Thursday (09Jun11), kicking off Frigidaire Kids' Cooking Academy Summer Session.
The drive aims to give busy parents and their children first-hand experience of preparing freshly-picked ingredients.
Garner says, "I'm a huge fan and avid supporter of my local Farmers Market. Showing kids how foods go from farm to table is an important first step in creating healthy eating habits.
"The Frigidaire Summer School is a great way to educate kids and their parents about the importance of eating fresh."
