American actress Jennifer Garner has learned to ignore media commentary about the way she looks, and become comfortable with her body.
The DAREDEVIL beauty admits she paid too much heed to what other people thought of her earlier in her career - but has now grown to appreciate what is important in life.
The 32-year-old says, "I've felt constant pressure to look good and I'll admit, sometimes it's gotten to me. Every now and again, it's great to get ripped and feel thin. But then after a while, you start feeling too muscled, like a man. It's not like whenever I've gained five pounds (2.3 kilograms) people have said, 'Jen's looking fat,' but sometimes it's nice to be curvy.
"With my life now, the main thing is that I want it to be balanced. I'd like to have a good career, a good love life and feel good about my body. I'd like to feel like I've grown, whether it's professionally or emotionally. Most of all, I just want to be comfortable with who I am."14/01/2005 19:43
