Jennifer Aniston has revealed how filming one of her hit movies helped with the pain of divorcing ex-husband Brad Pitt. Aniston, who now dates the screenwriter and actor Justin Theroux, says her role in the 2006 romantic-comedy 'The Break Up' helped with her marriage breakdown.
Speaking to James Lipton for her 'Inside the Actor's Studio' appearance, Aniston discussed signing up to star alongside Vince Vaughn in the movie about a feisty relationship break-up, saying, "It was a beautiful human story about a couple breaking up...You know, I was slightly familiar on the topic and the issue". The actress famously ended her five-year marriage with Pitt, who began a relationship with the actress Angelina Jolie shortly afterwards. Aniston explained, "I honestly felt like, what a great way to sort of exorcise some of that."I was like, why not? Turn the page, let's move on". The actress claims her heartache made the role somewhat "easier" to take, saying, "I enjoyed it! You'd think otherwise".
Jennifer Aniston is currently starring in the comedy 'Horrible Bosses', with Colin Farrell and Jason Bateman. Reports suggest she is looking to take an acting hiatus to work on her long-time project 'The Goree Girls'.
