Anniston's locks are as famous as hair can get. And yet, she wishes she had someone else's.
Jennifer Aniston has bad hair days. Let’s repeat that. Jennifer Aniston. The one with the shiny unicorn hair. There is obviously no hope for anyone else. Alternatively, you can choose to not care about the whole thing altogether, which is a pretty successful strategy for getting through the difficult times in life – you know, the really big issues, like unruly hair. When Jen has one of “those” days, she turns to her fashion icon – the Duchess of Cambridge herself, Kate Middleton. That’s the one famous lady who gives Aniston “hair envy”, the actress admitted to Marie Claire: “Does she do her hair herself? She's got a hard job, being scrutinized like that. When I have a bad hair day, my hair just goes in a clip.”
The actress also admitted to another shocking hair truths – well, as shocking as “hair truths” can be – she hates “The Rachel.” DUN DUN DUN. Apparently the crop she made popular in the 90s was actually Aniston’s least favorite style – and the one she had the biggest difficulties maintaining.
“The Rachel was high maintenance. I'd curse Chris every time I had to blowdry. It took three brushes—it was like doing surgery!”
Not only that, but the cut wasn’t even Aniston’s idea in the first place; it was mandated by the her manager.
"My manager at the time said, "You have to do something with your hair—it's horrible!"”, she recalled for the magazine I walked into the salon and Chris just lopped it off. I mean, at that point it was pretty much The Rachel.”
Lately, the actress has been going for low maintenance styles.
With only the occasional updo for variety.
