Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux are engaged to marry, after the former 'Friends' actress accepted Theroux's proposal on his birthday last week. Aniston, 43, and her screenwriter fiance, 41, have been dating for just over a year.
The couple - who starred alongside each other in Wanderlust - were first spotted together in May 2011. A representative for Theroux confirmed the good news, saying, "Justin Theroux had an amazing birthday on Friday, receiving an extraordinary gift when his girlfriend, Jennifer Aniston, accepted his proposal of marriage". Speculation of an impending proposal intensified when Aniston appeared on Good Morning America and failed to hide her emotions when asked about her personal life. She said, "Yes, I'm very happy. I'm extremely lucky, and I'm extremely happy". It's unclear when the pair plan to tie the knot, or where they'll choose to hold the ceremony. Though they're often spotted together in New York, the couple also spend time in Los Angeles and regularly jet off to exotic locations for vacations. As for Jennifer Aniston's engagement ring, fans will be keeping their eyes peeled for the sparkler the next time she steps out in public.
Aniston has been the center of romantic-speculation for years, ever since the demise of her marriage to Brad Pitt, who subsequently hooked up with Angelina Jolie. She had high profile relationships with John Mayer and Vince Vaughn before settling down with Theroux. She is currently shooting the forthcoming comedy 'We're The Millers', about a veteran pot dealer who creates a fake family as part of a plan to move a huge shipment of weed to the United States of America. Jennifer Aniston engaged is a headline that has been erroneously plastered across gossip magazines for years, though this time it's finally accurate , and we wish Jennifer and Justin the best for the future!
