Sean Penn doesn't miss his gun collection.
The Oscar winner insists he has no regrets about allowing artist Jeff Koons to mould his 65 firearms into a sculpture, which he auctioned off to raise funds for Haiti last year after his girlfriend Charlize Theron convinced him to get rid of his weapons.
He said: ''I think guns are not something to be missed. Especially, on a serious note, when we talk about it this week [and] this tragic thing that happened in Paris. I'd like to see more guns go to sculpture.''

Lady GaGa wears a black, futuristic suit with exceptionally tall stilettos and weird steampunk goggles as she addresses the crowd at the Jeff Koons 'ARTPOP' installation in Brooklyn. She poses for photos while making a claw motion with her hand that she seems to have adopted as her sign.
One-of-a-kind pieces by acclaimed artists Francis Bacon and Jeff Koons have sold at record-breaking prices, each raking in millions of dollars.
The British painter's Three Studies of Lucian Freud is considered one of Bacon's greatest masterpieces, and an anonymous buyer is now the lucky owner of the painting, after topping bids at a New York auction.
The triptych, which Bacon completed in 1969, went under the hammer for $142 million (£89 million) at Christie's, becoming the most expensive artwork ever sold at auction, surpassing a record set last year (12), when Edvard Munch's The Scream sold for $119.9 million (£74 million).

Lady GaGa was ''nervous'' to unveil the artwork for her new album ARTPOP.
The 27-year-old star shared the images which were created by American artist Jeff Koons with her 40 million fans on her twitter page yesterday (07.10.13), but curled into ''fetal position'' in anticipation of the reception they would receive.
She tweeted: ''FULL ARTPOP ALBUM COVER.'One second I'm a Koons, then suddenly the Koons is me! ' '', and attached an image of her in the nude, clutching her breasts, while a blue ball which was strategically placed covered the lower half of her body.

Gaga's ARTPOP cover came as a surprise, which is now, paradoxically, expected from the queen of unpredictability.
Everything is coming up Lady GaGa these days and, judging from the singer’s newly revealed cover for ARTPOP, it’s mostly because Mama Monster knows how to use shock to her advantage. Using that age old attention-grabbing technique, recently a favorite of Miley Cyrus, Gaga went full-on nude for the album artwork. Well, perhaps “full-on” is a bit misleading – since all the essential parts are tastefully covered by Gaga’s hands and what appears to be a giant blue crystal ball.
With all the buzz around ARTPOP, Gaga is also in the midst of promoting her feature film debut in the Robert Rodriguez flick Machete Kills.
That’s a defining feature of the cover – colors, colors everywhere! Of course, Gaga has established herself as one of the most extravagant and fashion-conscious performers out there by using a lot of color throughout her work, but recent videos and fashion choices have led many to believe that she might go in a cleaner, beatnik-like direction and maybe do an all black album cover. Instead, Gaga chose to surprise everyone again and come out with a busy, colorful piece for the artwork, featuring her own name in bold fuschia lettering.
The Applause hitmaker reveals she and Koons first met in 2010 and they have bonded over their shared appreciation of all things art.
The pop star, who admits she's become an apprentice to the artist, tells Elle magazine, "(I've) asked him... 500 questions and just stared at him while he talked as I scribbled in my notebook, hanging on to his every word. Every time I'm around him, I'm sweating."

Jay-Z followed indie-rockers The National in performing a track for six hours.
The multi-million selling rapper Jay-Z aimed to combine and rap and modern art this week, performing his new track 'Picasso Baby' for six consecutive hours at Chelsea's Pace Gallery in New York. Confused? Well, the lengthy 'secret' performance was used both to shoot Hova's new video and to promote his new album 'Magna Carta Holy Grail.'

According to the New York Post's report, Jay-Z was entertaining the likes of, "Judd Apatow, Adam Driver, Cynthia Rowley, George Condo and others" reportedly "serenading Alan Cumming, and dancing around Marina Abramovic, Performa founder RoseLee Goldberg and even a woman on a scooter with her leg in a cast."
The marathon performance, shot by film director Mark Romanek, centred on the rapper's arty track 'Picasso Baby,' which includes the lyrics, "I just want a Picasso, in my casa . . . I wanna Rothko, no I wanna brothel," as well as referencing "Jeff Koons balloons" and "[George] Condos in my condos."
