The designer has teamed up with French interiors firm Roche Bobois to create the range, which will maintain his sexy signature style.
He told the New York Post newspaper: "For me, life is all about self-expression, whether it's on your body or in your home."
According to Gaultier, the collection - which will be unveiled on Thursday (14.10.10) at New York's Kips Bay Decorator Show House - features "a sectional sofa with sex appeal: mattress-like modules that incorporate my signature Tattoo prints and sailor stripes, as well as a portrait of lovers who are about to kiss. This sofa brings the bedroom into any room in your house".
Earlier this year, Gaultier teamed up with underwear firm La Perla to create a lingerie line, which compromised of 27 Styles.
La Perla CEO Alain Prost said of the collaboration: "I met Jean Paul Gaultier a few months ago, and we immediately hit it off because we shared a Common vision of beauty, style, taste and quality. So we agreed to try this adventure together and unite our savoir faire."
