Overshadowing all over artists at this weekend's Wireless Festival 2013, Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake have dominated the main stage, with guest appearances during each other's headline slots across the weekend. During Timberlake's Friday night headline slot of the Olympic Park-based festival, not only did he debut new single 'Take Back The Night' but also introduced NY rapper Jay-Z for a performance of 'Suit & Tie', Yahoo! Music reports.

As if that wasn't enough for the hyped crowd to content with, the following night they were treated to another Jay-Z/JT epic double act as Jay-Z welcomed Timberlake on stage during his Saturday night headline show. Fans present leapt in the air as two of the biggest names in R&B and rap entertained, bringing their latest studio collaboration 'Holy Grail' from Jay-Z new record Magna Carta Holy Grail. Amongst choice tracks from his new album, Jay-Z also performed hits including '99 Problems', 'Empire State of Mind' and 'Jigga What Jigga Who' to an adoring crowd of 40,000.

In a review, The Telegraph's Neil McCormick marvels at former Mickey Mouse club Timberlake's incredible career trajectory and ability to master "all the sounds, styles and moves of the most talented black artists," adding "Timberlake sings, plays and dances with dazzling grace and finesse" and that Jay-Z's unexpected Friday appearance was the "crowning moment" of the hit-packed set, "like an endorsement from the godfather of hip hop to a new prince of pop."

The pair will perform on stage again at Wireless Festival - during a Sunday night 'Legends of the Summer' headline show - with Friday and Saturday's concerts being just a sneak preview of what's to come. JT made his return to music in January after taking some time out to pursue his acting career, with a role in 2010's The Social Network, returned with The 20/20 Experience: the year's bestselling album so far with two million copies sold, with The 20/10 Experience Pt. 2 scheduled for September 2013 release.
