Rapper Jay-Z has reclaimed his spot at the top of the American album charts a week after tumbling to number four.

The hip-hop hero's final album, THE BLACK ALBUM, kept No Doubt's THE SINGLES 1992-2003 compilation off the top of the charts with a healthy third-week sales figure of 260,000.

Britney Spears fell from the top to third with 251,000 copies of her new album IN THE ZONE selling, giving the album an impressive two-week total of 860,000.
