Jay Z and his wife Beyonce enjoyed a rare break from raising their two month old tot Blue Ivy Carter by taking in a gig performed by their good friend and superstar producer The-Dream on Sunday. Associated Press spotted the pair in New York in the Vip section of Sob's where the The-dream was playing to a few hundred people and saw them visibly enjoying the set, with the producer quite possibly giving them a shout out at the end of show when thanking the audience for coming, saying "I know some of ya'll got kids at home."
The-dream performed a number of his own hits, including 'Shawty Is a 10,' ''Falsetto' and 'I Luv Your Girl,' ahead of the release of his fourth album later this year. However it's behind the mixing board where he's perhaps done his best work, having co-written and co-produced Beyonce's massive hit 'Single Ladies (Put A Ring On I)' as well as Justin Bieber's 'Baby,' Mariah Carey's 'Touch My Body,' and 'Umbrella' by Rihanna.
