Eazy-E's daughter is producing a new documentary about the death of the hip-hop legend.

The N.W.A. rapper, real name Eric Lynn Wright, was just 31 years old when he died of Aids complications on 26 March, 1995, and now his daughter Erin Bria is shining a light on his life and legacy in A Ruthless Scandal.

She tells Bet.com, "A lot of people don't know the truth behind his death. There's definitely a story out there of how people think he died but a lot of it is a misconception, so I think it's time to tell the story of exactly what happened... I'm going to have interviews with everyone; his former (N.W.A.) group members, business associates, friends, doctors, lawyers..."

The film is set to be released in 2014 and the 22 year old hopes the project will make others more appreciative of the work her father did to pave the way for today's hip-hop stars.

She adds, "I feel like, if my dad was alive today, he would be Jay Z business-wise. He was a true visionary... He started the idea of speaking your mind and I definitely don't think that his legacy is represented. And hopefully I can change that."
