Javier Bardem claims the 23rd James Bond film will have a ''different dynamic'' to all previous Bond movies.
The Oscar-nominated actor was named recently as being in contention for a role in the film, starring Daniel Craig as the British spy for the third time, and although he has yet to officially sign on for a part, he admits he does know it will be a change from what fans of the franchise are used to.
He told the Los Angeles Times: "I'm a huge fan of the James Bond saga. When I was little, I went watching Mr. Connery doing James Bond with my father.
"Who in the world would think I'd be in one of those movies. They're changing the whole thing, the whole dynamic.
"I'd be playing Bond's nemesis, yes, but it's not that obvious. Everything is more nuanced. It's very intriguing."
As yet, a Bond girl has yet to be cast, but it is widely believed Freida Pinto is up for the role in the film, which is due to hit cinemas in November 2012.
