LATEST: Spaniards Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz and French actress Marion Cotillard have been added to the growing list of stars offered roles in much-anticipated movie musical NINE. According to trade paper Daily Variety, director Rob Marshall and producer Harvey Weinstein have asked the European trio to consider roles in the movie adaptation of the hit stage musical, which starred another Spanish actor, Antonio Banderas, in an acclaimed 2003 revival. Bardem was reportedly offered the role of Guido Contini, while La Vie En Rose star Cotillard is in talks for the role of Louisa, Guido's wife; and Cruz as Guido's mistress, Carla. Sophia Loren and Marshall's Chicago star Catherine Zeta-Jones are also up for roles in the movie.
