Jason Statham sent Rosie Huntington-Whiteley a ''romantic'' present of protective padding when she insisted on doing her own stunts for 'Transformers: Dark of the Moon'.
The Victoria's Secret beauty loved working on the action movie but her actor boyfriend was so worried about her, he insisted she took proper precautions.
Rosie told chat show host Jonathan Ross: ''I loved doing all the stunts. My stunt double had a very quiet six months.
''Jason was filming in Australia at the time and he said: 'Babe, you've got to wear stunt pads.'
''I was covered head-to-toe in bruises and about a week later a little package arrived with razor-thin gel stunt pads. That's quite romantic.''
Rosie also revealed she was bullied at school but has put it behind her thanks to her successful career.
She explained: ''I got a little bit of a hard time, but who didn't? I got teased. I was tiny at school.
''I was the shortest at school until I was about 14, so I got called Titch and I was rather flat chested.
''I was flat chested and had big lips so a lot of the boys at school called me T**lips.
''I used to say: 'You know what, I'll make money from these lips one way or another, boys.'''
