His other TV appearances also included 'The Game', and he portrayed Khal Drogo in the first and second seasons of 'Game Of Thrones'.
His first film was 2004's 'Johnson Family Vacation', but his breakthrough role came with 'Conan the Barbarian' in 2011, soon followed by 'Bullet to the Head' starring Sylvester Stallone and David Hewlett's 2014 sci-fi horror 'Debug'. Momoa began his showbiz career as a model, while also working in a surf shop.

After bursting onto the scene in Game of Thrones, Hawaiian actor Jason Momoa has been on a roll in both movies and television series.
Jasom Momoa's latest film is the edgy romantic thriller The Bad Batch, set in a near-future in which society's undesirables are sent into a desert wasteland where they live without rules. "The Bad Batch is heavy, gnarly and amazing," Momoa says enthusiastically. "The director's first film was called A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night, which won the Gotham Award for breakthrough director for Ana Lily Amirpour. So The Bad Batch is pretty rad!"

Momoa says that he enjoys making projects that are off the beaten track. "Some of my favourite movies are where it looks like hell to have shot them," he laughs. "The rain and the dirt and mud all make it easier to act. I identify with the outcast thing, and I really love it."

'Supergirl' may now have wrapped its second season, but with fans looking towards the future, actress Katie McGrath who stars as Lena Luthor in the series has opened up a little bit about what she'd love to see when the show makes its return for a third outing.
Katie McGrath stars as Lena Luthor in 'Supergirl'
Now officially a part of the 'Arrowverse' after the series moved from its original home of CBS to The CW after its first season, there's a plethora of different opportunities that could present themselves for the writers, cast and crew involved on 'Supergirl', but one we didn't think possible is exactly what McGrath wants to happen.

Jason Momoa is Aquaman as we've never seen him before.
'Justice League' is finally hitting screens this Fall, following up events in 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice'. But there's only one thing on people's mind right now with regards to the film; Jason Momoa's Aquaman. Could his arrival be a hugely advantageous turning point for the DC franchise?
Jason Momoa as Aquaman in 'Justice League'
Arthur Curry aka Aquaman is probably the most heavily modified of all movie-adapted comic book superheroes. As DC fans will know, the character is hardly portrayed as one of the coolest members of 'Justice League'; in fact, he is just about the most scoffed at and underrated superhero in the whole DC Universe.

The cast of Justice League (Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller, Zack Snyder, Ben Affleck, Ray Fisher, Henry Cavill) arrive at Warner Brother's CinemaCon 2017 event held at - Las Vegas, Nevada, United States - Wednesday 29th March 2017
Superman is missing from the 'Justice League' trailer.
The first major trailer for 'Justice League' has finally dropped and it tells us a lot about what to expect in the forthcoming DC movie. Following directly on from 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice', we meet the majority of the team and the dangers they're set to face.
[L-R] The Flash, Superman, Cyborg, Wonder Woman, Batman and Aquaman make up the Justice League
We see Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) having taken a long journey somewhere, most likely to track down Arthur Curry (Jason Momoa) in an isolated fishing village. Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) is the first to unite with Bruce as he gathers the Justice League, both spurred by the brave sacrifice of their friend Clark Kent (Henry Cavill). Barry Allen (Ezra Miller) is a little shocked to be recruited, especially while he's got his own problems to deal with such as his father Henry Allen (Billy Crudup) being in prison.
In the wake of his friend Clark Kent's monumental sacrifice, Bruce Wayne and Diana Prince are determined to recruit the most powerful superheroes on the planet to help them fight a new menace that Lex Luthor predicted was coming to the Earth. They are the intrepid Arthur Curry or Aquaman, king of the sea; the young but lightning-fast Barry Allen, also known as The Flash; and the half-man half-machine known as Victor Stone or Cyborg. Together they must fight an army of parademons that have descended upon them, apparently in search of the Mother Box that transformed Victor Stone into the biomechanical creature he is. They are serving the villainous extra-terrestrial Steppenwolf, who will stop at nothing to get what he wants and take over the world. But as you can probably work out, these heroes have an advantage in that Superman is far from dead as they initially suspected.

Seriously? These guys have never been named Sexiest Man Alive?
So Dwayne Johnson was named People's Sexiest Man Alive this year; a decision that has been the source of both praise and confusion. Praise because he's an excellent role model with enormous muscles and because he's mixed race, and confusion because all the obvious choices haven't been exhausted yet.
Here are ten more Hollywood heartthrobs who deserve to be named 'Sexiest Man Alive' sooner rather than later.

Jason Momoa isn’t too fussed about Aquaman jokes and he’s promised those sceptical of the character he plays that they will be forced to change their tunes after seeing him in ‘Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice’.
Jason Momoa claims nobody will be laughing after seeing him play Aquaman in the upcoming film, Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice. Momoa was at a fan expo in Canada over the weekend when he was asked how he feels about Aquaman being the constant butt of superhero jokes. His response implies we’re not going to see a ‘fish man’ but something very different and much deadlier.

Clark Kent is a reporter for the Daily Planet in his everyday life, but a much hated alien powerhouse beneath the earthly guise. As Superman he has the power to destroy the world and, even though he would never dream of it, the world wants him gone. Even his efforts to become the ultimate hero go unappreciated, in particular by his Gotham rival Bruce Wayne; a billionaire vigilante known as Batman by night. He believes Superman is to blame for all the horror the Earth has been faced with, and vows to take him despite his limited abilities. It isn't long before the two are forced to unite, however, in order to protect the citizens of Earth from a real threat that could prove to thrust the planet into oblivion.
When an alien lifeform crashed to Earth decades ago, no one noticed. When his own kind came after him, the fate of the world was threatened. When he saved mankind, they looked up to him like a God. But times have changed, and people have died since his arrival. The world has had enough of the "false God" Superman (Henry Cavill), but there is already another hero in the world. In Gotham City, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) has spent years and billions of dollars making himself into the greatest detective and the finest crime fighter. But the Batman knows that one does not simply arrive to a thunderous applause. He has earned his role as judge and jury, and it is up to him to stop the Man of Steal.
Zack Synder has shared the real version of 'Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice' after a pirated version, filmed on a mobile phone, leaks online.
Director Zack Synder did not despair when the exclusive trailer of Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice was leaked online on Thursday. The grainy footage, shot on a mobile phone camera, immediately went viral and certainly did not do justice to the true version.
