Canadian rockers Japandroids start off their latest run of European, UK and Irish dates from today. Starting off at Portugal's Optimus festival, the tour also takes in two dates at London's Dingwalls on the 17th and 18th July before heading to Latitude and Longitude. Some tickets are left for the second London date.
Having toured the world throughout the past year and a half in support of the hugely-acclaimed current album 'Celebration Rock', Japandroids (aka Brian King and David Prowse) recently stopped off to play an incendiary version of 'Adrenaline Nightshift' for David Letterman.
See exactly why audiences all over the globe love Japandroids' intense live show with a blood pumping version of 'Fire's Highway' as performed at Pitchfork Festival on YouTube.
Watch the video for crowd favourite 'The House That Heaven Built' on YouTube. The video finds director Jim Larson traveling with the band on their 2012 summer US tour, filming at sold out shows in Toronto, Montreal, Boston, NYC, Brooklyn, DC and their life on the road in between.
