The Nasty icon kicked off her comeback tour in Vancouver, Canada on Monday (31Aug15) and paid tribute to the King of Pop by performing their 1995 duet Scream, and now she reveals her new music will also touch on the death of Michael Jackson.

Jackson unveiled the cover art and tracklisting for her first album of new material in seven years on her website on Thursday (03Sep15), and an accompanying statement reads: "The album also will mark the first time Janet Jackson has opened up about her brother Michael and with reflections concerning her youth.

"Inherent in this music will be her feelings that we must learn to celebrate life and the things each of us experiences and endures and how that process can make each person stronger."

Unbreakable, which reunites Jackson with her longtime producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, will also feature collaborations with J. Cole and Missy Elliott. It is scheduled to hit retailers on 2 October (15). Her last album, Discipline, was released in 2008.

Michael died from an accidental drug overdose in 2009.
