The Jackson sister is in the money!
Janet Jackson’s finances can no longer be talked about without using the word billionaire. We’re serious, even if she loses all her money somehow, and isn’t even a millionaire any more, she will have been a billionaire. See? Billionaire.
For now, though, she’s just reached billionaire status, so it’s a shame to talk like that. So where has all this money come from? We’ll break it down for you: as one of the best-selling artists of all time, she has earned $458 million thanks to her successful concert tours, and $260 million in album sales. There’s $304 million from acting roles in films and more than $81 million from tour sponsorships and licensing fees. Add to that her estate, and she’s totally rich! People thought it might be because she’s just married a billionaire, and the financial stats were skewed. But no, she’s officially a billionaire in her own right, and not because of her nuptials with businessman Wissam Al Mana, 37. She can now go out for expensive dinners with Oprah Winfrey, Steven Spielberg, J.K. Rowling, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus, who are all big fan billionaires too.
The couple married in secret, and denied rumours that the wedding was an expensive affair."The rumours regarding an extravagant wedding are simply not true,” they explained. "Our wedding gifts to one another were contributions to our respective favourite children's charities."
