Veteran rockers Jane's Addiction have axed another U.K. festival slot due to frontman Perry Farrell's voice issues.
The band scrapped their appearance at Britain's Reading Festival on Saturday night (27Aug11) after Farrell's vocal chords severely swelled and now the group has cancelled their slot at Leeds Festival on Sunday (28Aug11), leaving Crystal Castles to take over the set.
In a statement, the band says, "This morning in London his doctor determined that Perry Farrell's vocal condition remains unchanged from last night. Farrell has been ordered to not use his voice until further notice for risk of vocal damage. His condition remains day to day.
"Again Jane's Addiction wishes to convey their sincere apologies to the fans who had been looking forward to their scheduled performances at Reading and Leeds."
