GLEE star Jane Lynch is set to be recognised for her contributions to gay movies and media at this summer's (10) Outfest Film Festival.
The openly gay actress, who plays cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester in the musical TV series, will accept the 14th annual Achievement Award, the festival's highest honour, on 8 July (10) in Los Angeles, according to Daily Variety.
Previous recipients of the prize include actress Jane Anderson, screenwriter Don Roos and filmmaker Rob Epstein.
Lynch is reportedly set to marry her longterm partner, Dr. Lara Embry, in a same-sex ceremony this spring (10).
