Jane Leeves, the British actress best known for her role in the hit US sitcom 'Frasier', says her 'Hot in Cleveland' co-star Betty White eats too much junk food and thinks her long career in television could be down to her love for French fries and Diet Coke, reports US Magazine"
Speaking at White's recent 89th birthday party, the 49-year-old actress said, "She eats crap. She eats Red Vines, hot dogs, French fries and Diet Coke. If that's key, maybe she's preserved because of all the preservatives". Wendie Malick, another cast member on 'Hot in Cleveland, agreed, saying, "She eats red licorice, like, ridiculously a lot. She seems to exist on hot dogs and French fries". However, 'Golden Girls' star White says her longevity is the result of 'being professional' and 'appreciating the business'. After being asked for her tips on surviving in the television world, the actress said, "Everybody all over the world would love to be in your business, so don't abuse it!"
'Hot in Cleveland' returned to screens last night (19th January 2011) for its season two premiere. The episode featured an on-screen reunion between White and Mary Tyler Moore who last worked with each other over 30 years ago.
