Former movie sex symbol Jane Fonda has rejected ex-husband Ted Turner's pleas for them to reunite, even though she describes him as her perfect man. The couple split five years ago after a ten year marriage, but despite still loving the media mogul, Fonda claims she has grown too used to being on her own to want to remarry her former love. The 68-year-old says, "Ted wants me to go back to him, and I wish I could, because I love him dearly. But I can't imagine having another man in my life. "Ted was the love of my life. We have so much in common: parents who had killed themselves, high levels of energy, the same values. We were an amazing duo, complementing each other perfectly. "Despite how he was raised, and his difficult childhood, he's turned out to be someone who wants to be a good guy. He isn't a tyrant or a bully. I don't want to live with him, but he's irresistible. A fantastic lover. He gave me such confidence. He let me know he needed me. "Right now I'm happy on my own. The last time I went out on a date was when I went out with Ted. I haven't dated since and I have no inclination to. Besides, I don't really get asked out on dates, I think people are intimidated."
