The beloved star's Before This World, his first new studio album in 13 years, has debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 chart thanks to 97,000 opening week sales.

The release is Taylor's 12th top 10 album and tops his 1971 effort Mud Slide Slim and the Blue Horizon, which spent four weeks at number two.
