Everyone's back for one of the year's biggest releases
Possibly the biggest reunion movie of all time, X-men: Days of Future past isn't just a sequel to 2011's X-men: First Class, but also to the original 2000-2003 trilogy.
James McAvoy and Patrick Stewart confront younger and older versions of themselves in X-Men: Days of Future Past
Back from those first three films are director Bryan Singer, writer Simon Kinberg and cast members Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, Halle Berry, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, Famke Janssen, James Marsden, Shawn Ashmore and Daniel Cudmore.

They combine in the time-travel story with First Class actors Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult and Lucas Till.
And there are a couple of newcomers as well, including Peter Dinklage's villainous Dr Trask and Evan Peters' scene-stealing Quicksilver, as well as Omar Sy (The Intouchables), Fan Bingbing (Lost in Beijing), Boboo Stewart (Twilight), Evan Jonigkeit (Girls), Adan Canto (Mixology) and Josh Helman (Jack Reacher).
All of this is held together by Hugh Jackman, who has played Wolverine in all five X-men films and two Wolverine spin-offs. But this movie held a special appeal to him. "You're going to work with a bunch of younger actors, some of which have just been born," he says of his thought process. "They're all very young and they're all going to remind you on a daily basis that they watched you in this movie. Don't hit them."
Jackman says he will retire his claws after the next movie, X-men: Apocalypse, which will complete the First Class trilogy in 2016.
