James Gandolfini once shut down filming on The Sopranos during a dinner scene because he ate so much the crew ran out of food before the sequence was complete.
Gandolfini's co-star Edie Falco claims her pal's enormous appetite caused problems onset when they were trying to film a scene involving the actor eating, because after seven takes he had wolfed down all the meals set aside for the shoot.
And Falco tells New York Post gossip column Page Six that filming had to be halted by the crew while they restocked their supplies.
