Actor James Denton is relieved none of his Desperate Housewives co-stars won the Golden Globe award for Best Actress, because he feared it would fuel on-set rivalry.
Teri Hatcher, MARCIA CROSS, Felicity Huffman and Eva Longoria were all nominated in the Best Actress category, but WEEDS star MARY-LOUISE PARKER - the only nominee not from Desperate Housewives - scooped the prize.
Denton explains, "The talk at our table was that one of the women (from Desperate Housewives) would probably win.
"Four out of the five (nominees) were on our show.
"It was great that Mary Louise Parker won.
"I thought that was very funny, actually and it made our lives a little easier going to work, because everybody was on equal ground."
