Jurassic World Takes A Bite Out Of The Avengers To Become World's Third Biggest Film

The movie, starring Chris Pratt, has passed $1.52 billion at the global box office, eclipsing The Avengers' take.

Now, only James Cameron movies Avatar and Titanic have been more successful worldwide.

In America, Jurassic World has become one of only four films to pass $600 million (£400 million) at the domestic box office.
