The producers of the James Bond franchise face a race against time to find the superspy a new lady love after Charlize Theron and Angelina Jolie turned them down.

Filming on the new Bond film, Casino Royale, which will be actor Daniel Craig's first outing as 007, is set to start on 30 January (06), but producers are struggling to fill the cast.

As well as Craig, DAME Judi Dench is onboard as spy boss M and a few of the villains have been decided, but the pressure is on to find the new Bond girl.

According to industry magazine Daily Variety, four actresses will audition for the role in London this week (ends13JAN06).

Among those being linked to the role of Vesper Lynd in the new Bond film are Natasha Henstridge, KIMBERLY DAVIES, Naomi Watts and Sienna Miller, who starred opposite Craig in Layer Cake in 2004.
