James Bond's high speed chase down the River Thames has topped a poll to discover the greatest movie scene featuring London.

The poll, commissioned by LONDON UNDERGROUND (subway trains) to mark next week's (begins18OCT04) LONDON FILM FESTIVAL, quizzed 1,000 film fans.

Pierce Brosnan's adrenaline-fuelled speedboat chase in Bond movie THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH came out on top, beating off competition from BRIDGET JONES'S DIARY and 28 DAYS LATER.

The Top 5 greatest scenes featuring London are as follows:

1. THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH - Boat chase along the Thames
