British singer/songwriter James Blunt has had royalties from his hit debut album Back To Bedlam frozen following allegations from producer Lukas Burton, who insists he was never compensated for his help on the disc. The 35-year-old music-maker claims he co-wrote three songs with the YOU'RE BEAUTIFUL hitmaker - which he claims Blunt vowed not to use - and is demanding recognition for his contributions. He says, "I devoted a huge amount of effort to James. His stuff was crude, occasionally laughably direct and betrayed his relative lack of musicianship or discernable influence." Blunt's spokesperson hits back, "When a record is this massive everyone wants to claim credit." The Performing Rights Society has withheld payments while the claims are investigated.
