Singer/songwriter James Blunt has topped the UK singles and album charts for the fifth successive week - a feat last made by Celine Dion.

Blunt's YOU'RE BEAUTIFUL held off competition from Daniel Powter's BAD DAY at the top of the singles chart, while superstar rockers Coldplay had to settle for second place as Blunt's LP BACK TO BEDLAM kept their album X+Y in second spot.

Canadian diva Dion dominated the British charts with her single THINK TWICE and her album COLOUR OF MY LOVE in 1995.

Meanwhile, British R+B singer Craig David made the highest new entry on the singles chart at number three with comeback release All the Way, while Goldfrapp's OOH LA LA and Akon's BELLYDANCER were also new entries and numbers four and five respectively.
